We're Back!!

We are back in Lansing, and things are in full swing. The night we got back Faith and Kara threw me an AMAZING baby shower. It was so great to see everyone after the summer. Faith made some yummy salad, and Kara made an adorable cake. I was so glad that Alyson, Laura, Amberly and Megan could all make it over before they headed out to their new adventures. I got some VERY cute things, and am excited for Preslie to wear and use them all.

The first days back I cleaned our place from top to bottom. I went through closets, cabinets, drawers, rooms, and even moved funiture to dust. It's amazing how musky and dusty things can get when you are gone for so long. I felt like there was just so much that needed to be done, and I still feel that way.

Last Thursday Chris' parents and sister Marissa flew in. Chris had a great time playing tennis with them (I retired), and we enjoyed spending time together. Marissa and Sue(Chris' mom) put together 2 puzzles while they were here, and we watched a TON of tennis. Saturday we all woke up early and went and tailgated in Ann Arbor before the Utah VS Michigan game. I made my infamous stadium cake the night before, which was a hit. After hours of eating food and spending time in the shade, it was time to go into "THE BIG HOUSE". It was INSANE! There were SOOO many people there! The entire stadium is bleachers, and you only have about 18 inches of butt space. It was such a blast!! I was so proud that I made it through the entire game. We were all so wiped out afterwards.

On Labor Day Chris and his family went to play some tennis, and then we went out to lunch at Bravo. I just LOVE that place, it has such yummy food. We then headed out to the Tanger Outlets. Chris and I got SOOO many summer clothes on sale at The Children's Place. That is our new favorite store, they have the cutest clothes. After the outlets Chris and went to the ward BBQ. It was a lot of fun, I am really glad we went.

Sue and I ventured out today and got a ton of baby stuff. Chris and his dad put together the crib before he left and it is soooo cute! We picked out paint "Enchanted Princess", which Chris and his mom will start painting tomorrow night. We are so blessed to have Sue here helping us, and are excited for our baby girl to come next month.

I just wanted to give Rylie an enormous amount of credit for being an all-time trooper and sitting through the 90+ degree weather in the "Big House" She definitely felt it the next day but we were sure glad she got to experience that with us. Rylie you are amazing and thanks for doing all that you do.

Love,

Chris

OK first of all Chris' comment is so cute. Second of all...nice work on cleaning you house. We've been home for over two weeks and I still have not unpacked. Nice work. You look great for being so pregnant missy...I hope I look that good. My tummy is getting in the way of things these days but I finally slept through the night last night which has made a huge difference. Thanks for your comment and your advice! You're the best!

I feel bad that we don't talk enough, if you need help or just want to chill let me know. Can't wait for little Preslie to arrive, you are going to be a great mom.
