It's A...

BABY GIRL! Chris and I got to see our little Preslie today. She is absolutely beautiful! She has the cutest little face! She constantly would shake her bum like her mom, it was really cool. She was all measured and everything is perfectly normal, and she is healthy. The best news other than the fact that she is a little angel is, I am 2 weeks ahead of schedule! My due date has been changed to October 14th, and could be changed again next month. Preslie is coming sooner than we think.

To celebrate our baby girl we went SHOPPING!!! She is so spoiled already! We found the cutest little infant Uggs, so cute!

We will try to upload a picture later!

Happy Father's Day!

I just wanted to express my appreciation for my dad. He has always been there for me when no one else was. My favorite times in high school were hanging out with him on the weekends, and working with him. I hated working during high school but looking back I am so grateful to be able to work for over 4 years 2 nights a week with my dad.

When I think back of my favorite times with my dad there are just so many to chose from but here are a few:

1. Daddy daughter girl scout dance
2. San Fransisco trip
3. Going to scary movies
4. Going to Utah every weekend with him during the summer
5. Laughing about everything
6. Just being able to spend time with him

I have the best dad anyone could ever ask for. He works so hard for our family, and for other families. Whenever I am around my dad I am never sad, mad or upset, he is just soo funny. I love him so much and I hope I can see him again really soon.

(From Chris)
This is my 2nd official posting and I just wanted to say thanks to my Dad for all that he has done for me and our family. He is always there for us through thick and thin and is always helping and putting us first. It was fun to watch the U.S. OPen with him today.

I just wanted to tell Chris how excited I am that he is going to be a dad. We have had such a great day today, and he has been so helpful. Chris has been able to feel our baby kick a lot this weekend, and the joy in his face when he feels it melts my heart. I love you Chris and can't wait for this baby to come.

BEWARE! There's an Ostrich on the loose!

Chris' surprise gig was to dress as an ostrich for an hour. He got paid 100 dollars to wave and flap his little wings. He will be on the news here later tonight. He told me that he was drenched in sweat afterwards, and it even ruined his new leather wallet I got him for Christmas. :p

"Whooah, were half way there"

Today I am officially 20 weeks along. Halfway there! I can't believe how the time has just flown by. It makes me so excited to think that in a few short months I will see our baby. This baby has filled our lives with such joy already and we are thrilled to make memories with lil M.

We have finally got accepted on Virginia's Medicaid so we made an appt with the dr. for Monday, so we should be finding out what we are having by the end of this month. The poll on our blog is almost 50/50, so it will be interesting to see what ya'll voted for. I use to be 100% that it's a girl but now I have no clue. This little baby is going to make an awesome soccer player, It goes crazy with the little kicks. I love it!

So last Saturday night Chris did his "bathroom attendant" job. He said that the place was a very upper class bar/restaurant and it was JAMMED packed. There were 3 bathrooms all unisex, and Chris was in charge of the massive line to get to them. He said people were crazy drunk, and that it was just ridiculous that they didn't have a Men and Women's bathroom. I guess they just opened though. Chris made 100 bucks, 20 which were in tips. He said that this black women asked him to dance, but he said that he was happily married. :D That made me happy! He has a gig tomorrow morning doing the most hilarious thing. I won't spoil the surprise, I'll just post pictures!

I started nannying on Monday, and it has gone really well. We were in a little routine the past 2 days but today was a complete turn. She certainly is a doll though. I can't wait to take care of my own baby. So fun!

A Fun Filled Weekend

Last night Chris and I had a date night. We first started by getting my ring cleaned at Tiffanys. I always feel so under dressed going in there, they seriously have the most gorgeous jewelry. I had fun picking out what I think I need next. ;)
After that we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, On The Border. I cannot describe to you how amazing it tasted to have actual good Mexican food. We just love that place. After dinner we went to Tysons Corner(mall) and went to my favorite store out here H&M. I had no idea they carried a line of baby clothes and of course we had to get some. We will have many little girl clothes to save if this baby is a little boy. ;) I would be so happy to have a boy although we both agree the girl clothes are so much cuter.

After going to the biggest mall ever we met up with Chris' parents and headed over to Ft. Belvoir for a night of hitting golf balls and putting. This was only my 2nd time doing it and I did o.k. My stomach got in the way of my swing but it was a lot of fun. After hitting some balls we had a little competition between Sue, Chris and I to see who could putt better. Final hole Sue creamed us by hitting an 85ft hole in one. It was unbelievable! After that we headed to Dairy Queen and got some yummy ice cream. Chris and I were going to try to go see Kun Fu Panda but the theaters were packed. So we decided to rent The Assassination of Jesse James....HORRIBLE MOVIE! We turned it off after an hour it was so boring!

Today Chris and I went to the pool, it felt amazing!!! I seriously could fall asleep in that water, it was so relaxing. Then tonight we played tennis with Chris' parents. Baby M and I have never played so good! It was a lot of fun. Chris is now at work. He got a job working Saturday nights at a high class restaurant as a bathroom attendant. Haha! I can't wait to hear the story. He just started his first night tonight. He works from 11pm-3am. :( I am sad about the hours but they pay amazing.

I am looking forward to a great Sunday and a great week.

I caught Chris reading this...I thought it was so cute. He is going to be such a great dad.

Last Friday Chris and his dad played golf at Ft. Belvoir. I went along to drive the golf cart. Who would have thought 4 hours of driving that thing would tire someone out. I think I did pretty well for my first time. Chad made unbelievable shots and frequently told me that I was his lucky charm. Chris played very well for not playing in a year. I cannot even believe how far these guys can hit the ball. It was a lot of fun, and I was glad I was invited to watch.

Isn't he stinkin' cute?

I got a job!! I am going to nanny for this 7 week old baby girl named Larissa. I am very excited, and hope it goes well. She is such a cute little baby. I am meeting up with mom and baby tomorrow afternoon to see how to do everything. :)

Well the truth finally comes out...the real reason that brought us back to Virginia is HAPPY MEAL WEDNESDAY! Every Wednesday at the McDonald's on Duke street the hamburger happy meals are only $.99! Last year we went ever Wednesday with Chris' brother Curt and they would down anywhere from 5-10 happy meals each! Well this year we have limited ourselves to 2 each, and sometimes more. We just LOVE them! We have a bazillion toys and lots of stomach aches. If you are having a bad day Happy Meal Wednesday will cheer you up!!
