Non Stress Test

We went in today for our first non stress test. Luckily Preslie was awake long enough for us to take it once. After ten minutes of doing it the nurse came and changed the paper, and checked the progress. She asked me if I had felt the contraction I had...my reply: "What contraction?" Preslie passed with flying colors, and we go back Thursday for another non stress and an ultrasound.

They make it pretty comfortable during this test.

Chris got a picture of the peak of the contraction I had....crazy!

I am so freaking jealous. For me the non stress tests were the most uncomfortable things in the world. The chairs were hard misshapen excuses for chairs. Ha, and I had to do them every week for 8 weeks...Now if it was like that I would have enjoyed going to them :) You are lucky! Good to hear that Preslie is doing so well. You are also lucky, from 20 weeks on I felt every single contraction that I had. Which I guess isn't terribly normal with the first baby...Good luck this week! I can't wait to see baby Preslie!

I am glad all went well. I had to do this when I was pregnant with Kelly!

You're lucky! I had to go in EVERY day for 2 weeks for non stress tests. I had to lay on the most uncomfortable bed ever and I was always there for at least 2 hours because I was contracting so much.
I would leave the hospital with a sore back just from the dang bed.

Good luck with everything. It will be here before you know it.

Wow, that chair is awesome! I just had to lay on the lame table when I had mine! Glad to hear everything's going well!

Oh she is so close!! I didn't even feel the contractions until they were pretty dang close together and my water had broke (with both kids), so you could be so much closer than you think!!! Glad things went well and best of luck for her arrival this week :) (wink wink)

I was the same way with contractions. I do not think I noticed them until it was really getting intense. You never know this baby might be coming tonight!!!! =)

Rylie & Chris,
I just read Jenny and Kelsey's Blog and I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. I don't know what to say aside from that I am so SO sorry for your loss. Please know that you and your family members are in our prayers. Your little Preslie gained her crown without the conflict. My heart and prayers are with you.
